We became enchanted by the richness of species adapting to an often harsh environment in those mountains of southern Oregon. We especially loved the diverse evergreen oaks. We soon began bringing home a few acorns from our trips to the Siskiyous, growing them in pots in our postage stamp Seattle back-yard. We quickly outgrew that spot and moved to rural Montesano, Washington, finally relocating here in Olympia in 2000. We haven’t stopped growing, in fact we now have plants to share-that’s where you our customers come in. We offer a highly individualized collection: well-grown Pacific Northwest native plants, over 20 oak species, and many compatible plants to bring four season interest and the Spirit of the Northwest to your garden. |
